We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd INFIRE National Roundtable in Croatia, taking place on 22 April 2026 in Šibenik, as part of a three-day (21-23 April) national forum organised by the Green Building Council Croatia (GBC Croatia).
The GBC Connect Forum 2026 serves as a key national platform bringing together public authorities, industry representatives, financial institutions, academia, and other stakeholders to foster dialogue on the green transition. Designed as a Business-to-Government (B2G) forum, it creates a structured space for direct exchange between the private sector and public institutions, supporting the alignment of policy development with market needs.
Held in partnership with the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets, the event also features the 9th edition of the “Open Dialogue with Partners”, a format successfully connecting cross-sector stakeholders since 2018.
The three-day programme includes expert presentations, panel discussions, thematic workshops, and roundtables addressing key challenges and opportunities in the building and energy sectors. Topics covered include:
- Sustainable construction
- Energy efficiency
- Renewable energy sources
- Urban development
- Building renovation policies
- Green skills and competencies
- Financing mechanisms
- Digital tools for building renovation
The INFIRE Roundtable, scheduled for 22 April, will take place within the session dedicated to financing energy efficiency, contributing to discussions on innovative financial solutions and policy support mechanisms.
With around 150 participants expected from Croatia and across the region, the forum provides a valuable opportunity for stakeholder engagement, exchange of experiences, and dialogue on key policy processes, including the development of the National Building Renovation Plan.
