1st INFIRE National Roundtable | Bosnia & Herzegovina

11/06/2025

On June 10, the Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency – SERDA
hosted a dynamic workshop, the 1st National INFIRE roundtable in Bosnia and Herzegovina: “Barriers and Solutions for Climate Resilience: Adaptation, Neutrality, and Nature-Based Solutions”.
This collaborative event, part of INFIRE and BIOFIN-EU projects, brought together 20+ experts from public institutions, finance, academia, and civil society.

The goal? To co-create realistic, actionable ideas that can help the Sarajevo Canton cut emissions, boost air quality, and champion nature-based solutions (NbS) and energy efficiency (EE).

💡 Highlights included:
✅ Presentation of the NbS Dashboard, a digital tool for financing nature-based solutions
✅ Hands-on sessions identifying barriers to climate action – and developing ways to overcome them
✅ Strong cross-sector dialogue around regulatory gaps and funding challenges

This is just the beginning. SERDA and its partners will continue to drive innovation and cooperation, paving the way for climate-neutral, resilient cities.

Let’s keep pushing for smarter, greener solutions – together.
