What we achieve

INFIRE raises awareness and changes attitudes of public authorities, citizens, and investors towards resilient and carbon-neutral Euro-Mediterranean living areas, and promotes green and innovative financing in the 7 participating countries by building a network of key stakeholders on the local, regional, national and EU level.
Furthermore, INFIRE increases the capacity of local and regional public authorities for effective planning and financing of climate adaptation and carbon neutrality solutions; while enabling the public authorities to implement, test and monitor the solutions, directly benefitting citizens.
